Which exercise should be avoided if one has an ovarian cyst?

I was diagnosed last week with a plum-sized cyst on my left ovary as a result of endometriosis. I will probably have to have surgery sometime soon to take it out. My doctor told me it is still ok to do exercises as long as I don't overdo it. I don't know what the cut-off should be, though. I asked if I could still go to spinning classes (indoor group cycling) and she said yes. But my mom told me not to, and said anything like that could increase my risk of it rupturing. Any advice on the matter? Thanks.

All excercise is ok with ovarian cyst. Cycling and even running is ok. Sometimes surgery is unnecessary and the cyst can be resolved with birth control. Unless the cyst is a solid mass then surgury is needed. Ask your doctor for atleast 3 months of BC then repeat your ultrasound. Good luck.
Reply:I wouldn't take anything to the extreme, I don't think cycling would but then again, I am not sure....don't have sex or use anything in there. I have had a cyst rupture and it is worse than childbirth!
Reply:No offense...but I guess your doc doesn't know that Iodoral dissolves ovarian cysts!!!! But he also can't make any money off of you if you don't have surgery!

My doc put me on it and my cyst IS GONE!!!!! :)

I buy mine from this site...
