My doctor put me on 50mg of clomid to make me ovulate. I was really hoping to get pregnant this month. I started my period on 11/6/07 and now i'm having some pain in my lower abdomen on the left side and I was wondering if maybe this was a sign I could possibly be pregnant or if I could be developing a cyst on my ovary from the clomid. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like ovulation pain. It would be beneficial to start charting if you are not already, that way you can see after a few cycles what is normal for your body. As soon as I get ovulation pain I started bd'ing every day until 2 days after ovulation. Good Luck :)

Reply:I agree...sounds like ovulation. I started on 11/2 and started my first round of clomid 50mg on cd 3-7. Had an u/s and HCG trigger shot on 11/14. Follies were on left side. On 11/16 I had pain on my left side for just a few hours and thought it could be ov pain. I've been charting and according to my chart I did ovulate on the 16th which was cd 15. Good luck!!
