For 20 years I've a very little cyst on my right testicle. I've no pain! Size unchanged. Should I see my Doc?

For more than 20 years I do have a very little cyst on my right testicle. I never had pain. Size is unchanged for more than 20 years. I am not very concerned about that. Should I go to my doc? My age is 39.

These are common and they are sebaceous cysts filled with sebum from the follicle just like the ones you can get on your face/back etc. If it is relatively small in size (pin head size) then you can try to squeeze it and avoid the trip to the Dr. But if it is larger then the Dr. might have to lance it. If it doesn't bother you then leave it alone but if you happen to want to pose in the buff and it shows then have it removed.
Reply:Yes, make sure it's not testicular cancer or something that may become cancer
Reply:You haven't seen a Doc in 20 years? I would have gone 20 years ago. A lump on your finger or toe is one thing; a lump on your boys is another.
Reply:Well, I have one on my ovaries, doctor told me if it dont bother me dont bother it, and if I just want to get it removed then yes, I think you should let him know and since you havent been to the doctor how do you know it is a cyst.
Reply:that's not a cyst its your penis lol just kidding wouldn't hurt to see a doctor well it might hurt but you should go anyway
Reply:Yes you should have went 20 yrs ago.

My hubby would never let something be on his testicles that long. He felt a knot on the inside of his leg last month right next to his right testicle and he had me take him to the Dr the next day. He ended up having a hernia and had surgery 5 days later. Most men freak about having anything down there thats not normal. I know mine does.
Reply:I know what that is....my first husband had one. His was present and unchanged for 3 years. He finally had a doctor look at it when he was 21. It's a harmless cyst just like you said. The doctor lanced it. Enough puss came outta that thing to fill a shot glass. it was soooo gross! But his testicles looked normal after that. And the procedure was painless.
Reply:Just because it's no growing in size doesn't mean that it's not spreading cancer throughout your body. Why would you go this long without consulting a doctor? If it is cancer, after twenty years, it would have spread a lot.
