a week ago i had surgery to have a pilonidal cyst removed...its a pretty big hole....on wednesday i had to go back to the doctor b/c of excruciating pain..it ended up being infected and they gave me antibiotics....i know it will take a while to heal, but now its bleeding a lot...too much info, but i've soaked through several gauze pads today...i'm debating on whether to go to the emergency room tomorrow....
does anybody have any suggestions, experiences or stories about this? i'm not sure what is normal or not...thanks

get you **** to the er now!!!!!! you can lose too much blood for a simple surgey and can be in serious trouble! i have seen kids come in with a tonsilectomy bleed and end up in icu. you really should not be bleeding much, if at all, after a week...
