So, I screwed up... I squeezed and severely made my pimple much much worse. I'm in a wedding in 3 DAYS. It's gross and crusty now. PLEASE PLEASE answer this for me... I'm strongly considering visiting my derm for a cortisone shot... will this do anything for it even though its not a true cyst, just a swollen inflamed spot? What can I do???? This sucks hardcore, I really really was looking foward to new years, my skin has been so great until this. Help?!? I need to know before 8 am tomorrow when I would make the call!

Reply:I would call your doctor/dermatologist..like you said..in the morning to see what he or she says regarding your blemish. In the meantime, try applying saline solution on a cotton call to the zit. The salt will act like a poultice to draw out the infection and dirt.
Reply:get some topical cortizone from the dollar store and rubb it on it could be a ferincle they are caused by staph like from the shower stall or contact if so buy some boil ease from the druggist show them it and ask its behind the counter there buy some gause and cover it and the boil ease will drw it up and you can pop it and it will heal
