i just found out i am pregnant on the 4th almost 1 week ago, did a home pregnancy test then had the blood test with 33% of the pg hormone then i had before this really bad pain so the doc reffered me 2 a ob gyn she did another pregnancy blood test and my levels of the pg hormone went up it was 88% she said it was a good sign even after she had seen left ovary with a ruptured cyst and the liquid was very visible on the vaginal ultrasound well i have my next app 20th just wondering if there has been anyone in the same situation and had a successful pregnancy ?
Is it dangerous to be pregnant with a ruptured cyst?
wow i have no idea... hope you have a good pregnancy!
Reply:I can't answer you're question directly but perhaps make you feel a little less worried about conceiving. A good friend of mine had an ovarian cyst and went into hospital - she had bleeding but also found out that she was pregnant at the same time. She has had no problems during her pregnancy. Good luck to you!
Reply:It really depends upon the location of the cyste, but truly a question that should have been answered by the doctor who prescribed the ultrasound. Plus, if there is an issue, then your doc will phone you to come in long before your next scheduled appt. If you dont hear anything before then, then more than likely, alls well. Keep in mind too, that a cyst is only a fluid-filled sac...once the fluid is gone, the cyst is too.
Reply:I do not believe that a cyst rupturing will interrupt your pregnancy or will it cause complications. I bet that you'll be just find. Take care of yourself.
Reply:There maybe complications and risks involved and you should talk with your Doctor about this since he knows your history better than anyone on this panel. -God Bless.
Reply:I doubt a ruptured cyst on your ovary will affect the pregnancy, the liquid is on the outside of your womb, and the foetus makes the hormones until the placenta is formed and the the placenta takes over. I have had seven ruptured cysts on one ovary, not while pregnant, it did hurt a little but nothing changed.
