I don't know if this is a pubic cyst, what to do?

last week, i popped a pimple on my right outer labia. a sm amount of thin yellow pus emerged. this week, same thing on left outer labia. today, i found a round,hard, quarter sized, painful, cyst in my pubic pad right above my left labia. i have pain with palpation that extends to my left groin where my leg connects. area is not red. i don't know what to do. should i call my dr. tomorrow? do you think i am in any danger?

Yes you should definitely at least talk to your doctor about it. You could have an STD or something. Get it checked out.

Reply:This can be caused by a number of reasons, but my guess would be shaving of the area. The hairs become ingrown, and cause a lot of pain and irritation. I would check in with your doctor to be sure, but you are not in any danger. My sister gets these a lot from shaving around that area. If you are able to pop them, it will relieve some of the pain. Reply:Its normal for pimples to form there, usually triggered from when theres too much moisture there like from your period. But if it persists and if its really painful to where you cant stand it, I'd suggest going to the doctor, but I dont think its anything serious.
