i recently went to the dr due to a bump on my genital area.....they told me it was a cyst and i asked if they can remove it because it makes me feel uncomfortable during sex. the dr had told me she could try squeezing it and it would hurt but other than that she cant do nothing more! i dont understand why they cant remeove it......it is hard and white like it has some solid material in it! i had it for some years now and it isnt an std or anything else.....i just cant understand why they cant remove it if people with warts can get there bumps removed!!!
Is there anyway to get rid of a cyst on the genitals?
See your regular doc and ask them to lance it for you and get rid of the material that is in it. Your doc apparently just didn't want to have to deal with this for you so she told you there was nothing more she could do when in fact she could do more. Get it lanced and cleaned out at your regular docs office.

Reply:Probably because thats a sensitive area! But I would get a few more doctors opionions or seek a specialist like a dermatologist.
Reply:Had the same problem with a cyst in the same area....it got so large and painful that I couldn't walk. Went to the E.R. and had it lanced and drained. Cyst all gone and never came back. You could go to the E.R. as an emergancy if it's that painful like mine was...or just go to your regular doctor or switch to a better OBGYN
