my abby has a large cyst growing on the inside of her left hind leg and Im wondering if it is removed of how she will do. Im wondering if someone has been thru that?
How dangerous is it for my pig to have a large cyst renoved, she is 5 yrs. old?
I have asked my friend Chet, who is an expert on pig health, and he says the cyst can be removed by surgery.
Chet is a butchers apprentice and deals with pigs all the time. When he butchers them, it is just like surgery but they are already dead, he says.
He has butchered some with cysts the size of fists, so he ought to know. You cant eat the cyst, but the rest of the meat looks the same, cyst or no cyst, so who cares, right?
As for covering up the hole left by surgery, here is a top tip.
My pet vietnamese pot bellied pig, Gordon, suffered extensive burns after an accident with a barbeque.
Chet and I sewed on a skin graft of finest quality bacon.
Dont use the smoked bacon, unless you want to risk giving Chet smoking related illnesses later in life.
Before cutting the pig open, make sure he is tied down with a pillow in his mouth.
Make sure you do all this humanely, like I set out.
Reply:Why would you talk about your lady like that? Shame on you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
